Stampin' Up! Good Tidings - quick & simple
Hello, here are the details for the first project this week using Good Tidings. I am pleased to say that my crafty ladies this morning took to this set like ducks to water ... they even liked the colour scheme!
The images in the Good Tidings stamp set use a technique called two step stamping.
I used many, many colour combinations before I settled on the colours for this week - I love to experiment with my crafting.
The detail that is achievable with this technique is stunning. I only used one of the berry stamps using another technique called stamping off. The final stamp creates the stalk and the little brown dots on the berries.
The Stitched Shape Framelits made a return this week after a conscious effort on my part to not use them all the time!
The sentiment has been stamped with Early Espresso.
There is a lovely little sentiment in this set which is perfect for the inside.
I used the smaller cluster of leaves and berries to accent the sentiment and the envelope.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
We were joined by an new lady this week, Megan who made both projects. She was so pleased with the cards she made she took this photograph when she got home.
I have two further Coffee & Cards sessions available this week if you would like to join me to make the cards above, you can find all the details here,
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee very soon.
