Stampin' Up! Magical Day - stepped up
My crafty ladies really enjoyed both projects this week but the mermaid proved particularly popular.
We had lots of variations this week too, especially the hair - one lady on Tuesday coloured the hair grey and it looked amazing - wish I had taken a photo!
The tiny seahorse is so cute. The stamp actually has tiny bubbles coming from the mouth but those are removed if you die cut it.
There are also two dies to cut the leafy sprigs too - one facing to the left and the other, to the right. Doesn't the glimmer paper look stunning?
However, in true SU style there is a solution - extra bubbles (between the dragoon and unicorn)!
Once all the pieces have been stamped, die cut and coloured in the underwater scene comes together quite quickly.
We used some left over pieces of DSP to decorate the inside too with another seahorse ...
Manita coloured her mermaid in orange - doesn't it look fishy? You can also see the Wink of Stella we added too.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
Here are some of the cards that were made today - lots of variations that all look fantastic.
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for a crafty coffee - lots of sparkle and crafty chatter this week - #Ilovemyjob!
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below. Thanks for looking at my blog, come back soon so you don't miss anything.
Next week we will be making Valentine cards!
