Stampin' Up! Bird Banter - stepped up
Hello, here are the details for our second project this week using Bird Banter.
There are lots of little background images included with this set which are very useful for covering up little splodges of ink! They also allow you to build up different scenes which is something I really enjoy.
You can add additional sprigs of leaves and, even better, there are two little budgies - one facing to the left and one to the right!
The sentiment used on this card is one that is particularly appealing to me.
I am notorius for missing birthdays ...
Here are a couple of cards with slightly different colour combos.
Love that SU gave us Stampin' Blends - they make colouring images so easy and professional looking too. I used Wink of Stella to accent the balloons but as ever, it proved difficult to photograph!
Here is the completed card and envelope.
This card uses only 5 items if you exclude the Stampin' Blends. Once you have decided where to place the images, the card comes together quite quickly. All my crafty ladies have really enjoyed colouring these birds this week.
I used an assortement of Stampin' Blends to colour the birds etc - the colour combinations are endless and, who says you have to use the 'correct' colours?
Bird Banter will be retiring at the end of May and will only be available whilst stocks last.
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week, all I can say is that you did not diappointment me with all the puns that were flying (sorry) around!
I will post details of the projects for next week shortly.
Happy crafting!
