Stampin' Up! Climbing Orchid - quick & simple

Hello, we had lots of fun yesterday 'building' orchids with the fabulous Climbing Orchid bundle.

I have really missed my Monday morning coffee and cards sessions, what with the Bank Holiday and moving house I have missed two weeks now!

We used one of my favourite embossing folders, Layered Leaves to create a backgroung panel.

For a change, we also used the same folder to partially emboss the envelope.

We stamped all the different components for the orchid in Berry Burst ink and cut them out with the coordinating Framelits.  The petals were shaped and curled before all the layers were assembled using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Although there are several stamps in this set that allow you to create stems and branches, I used a Thinlit from Seasonal Layers.

Here is the completed card and envelope.  We were chatting yesterday about sentiments - we decided that the one on this card is very useful for all sorts of occassions!

These are the cards that Val made yesterday ... don't they look stunning?
