Stampin' Up! Lilypad Lake - quick and simple (ish)!
Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Lilypad Lake.
My favourite part of this project is the flock of birds flying up high.
The birds are from a stamp set called High Tide. I love the blue and yellow colour combo - so striking and lesh harsh than black ink!
The yacht stamps have a coordinating die thank goodness so we did not have to fussy cut them. They were coloured with Stampin' Blends.
The inside of the card and the envelope has been stamped to coordinate too.
The waves have been stamped in Blueberry Bushell ink. First at full strength, then second and third generation ink to achive the colour variations. Each time I stamped, I altered the position of the stamp to achieve more coverage.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
I made a slightly different version of this project so that my crafty ladies could choose which one they preferred.
Inspiration is all around us - I took mine for this project from the table mats in my dining room (thanks Laura Ahsley)!
I would love to be beside the seaside tight now - temperatures hit 33 degrees here yesterday afternoon, far too hot for me!
I have two more C & C sessions this week, if you would like to join me, you can find the details here.
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee (or a long, cool drink) soon.
