Stampin' Up! Christmas Pines - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for the second project this week using Christmas Pines.

Every year I offer a week of Christmas in July projects for Coffee & Cards.  Obviously, today is August - I'm not sure what happened to July as it has flown by.  Anyway, my crafty ladies did not seem to mind so all is well!

We used a mix of Old Olive card and Gold Glimmer Paper to create a cluster of leaves and mistletoe for the front of the card.  It was topped off with a double layered bow that had been curled and shaped for a little dimension.

Each piece has been adhered with a touch of Tombow at the top from a central point.  The double bow is hiding a multitude of stems and stalks!  A scattering of pearls finished the mistletoe off quite nicely.

My crafty ladies were given the choice of Shaded Spruce or Real Red for the background - over the course of the week both colours were chosen the same number of times.  Which colour do you prefer?

I also offered a choice of embossing folders for the white panel; Softly Falling or the now sadly retired Pine Bough.  Again, they were both equally popular!

Here is the completed card and envelope.  I love the two step samping that creates a dimensional bough - perfect for the corner of the envelope too!

It has been another hot week weatherwise but at least I know have a pile of Christmas catrds ready to go.

Thanks to everyone who joined me for a crafty coffee this week.  Next week we will be using the new limited edition bundle called Blended Season.  I will post details as soon as I have done the projects!

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.

Hope you have a crafty weekend.
