Stampin' Up! Wishing You Well - stepped up

Hello, here are the details of our second project this week using a stamp set called Wishing You Well.

My crafty ladies have gone mad for the lovely ribbon image in this stamp set.  It looks so pretty, especially with Wink of Stella on top!

We used the same stamping technique for the flowers that we did for the quick & simple project this week - it is simple but very effective.

We used two embossing folders this week; Subtle (Crushed Curry) and Tufted (Blackberry Bliss).

The stamped image was adhered to the Crushed Curry layer, slightly offset.

The sentiment is from a stamp set I am ashamed to say I have not used (yet) called At Home With You.  A trio of jewels and the card is finished.

I stamped the inside and the envelope to coordinate.

Here is the completed card and envelope.

A couple of the crafty ladies from today decided they wanted to stamp these beautiful bows in Rich Razzleberry.  They confessed they were a little disappointed with the colour until I showed them what a little Wink Of Stella does!

I'm not sure of the reason why but it seems to react with the ink as well as adding a touch of sparkle.  The bow at the top of the picture is more pink in colour once the Wink of Stella has been used.

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for some crafty 'me time'.  Next week I have a special request from Louise who is one of my team of ducklings.  She will be unable to join us for several weeks and she has asked if we can make some Christmas cards using a stamp set called Merry Christmas To All.  I will post details of the projects shortly.

Hope you have a crafty weekend.

Susan xx
