Free As A Bird - for Coffee & Cards
Hello, I have a treat for those attending my Coffee & Card sessions this week - we will be using a brand new stamp set called Free As A Bird. We will also be using other items from the Bird Ballad Suite which will be available from the 4th June so not too long to wait now!
The Bird Ballard Suite is one of my current favourites from the upcoming Annual Catalogue. I have been having lots of fun making up samples to share at my launch event on the 7th June? You can find all the details HERE - don't forget to let me know you are coming so I can have everything ready for you!
For our projects this week we will be using colours that can be found in the stunning Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.
This week we will be stamping, die cutting, embossing and colouring with the Stampin' Blends. Here are the projects we will be making.
I struggled with the first project for this week but after posing a question of facebook, my crafty ladies came to the resucue! Suffering from my usual indeciseness, my crafty ladies made the decision to use the embossing folder on the right and, Louise suggested using a piece of coloured card behind the embossed panel. Perfect - thanks ladies! (Apologies for the messy background - I have been busy playing with other new stamp sets too).
For our second project this week I turned to the upcoming Annual catalogue for inspiration. I made a couple of changes to one of the projects showcasing the Bird Ballad Suite.
If you would like to join me, you can find me at the following locations next week.
Please note - no C & C session on Monday as it is a Bank Holiday here in the UK!
Tuesday - both projects
Venue: Bests Cafe, 7 Kings Hedges, St Ives (PE27 3XS)
Thursday - both projects
