Above The Clouds - Quick & Simple
Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using a stamp set called Above The Clouds.
This project started with one of my favourite Stitched Shape dies cut from thick Whisper White card stock.
I used Balmy Blue ink, stamped off to add some clouds to the top and then Soft Suede ink for the birds.
I also stamped some clouds onto Balmy Blue card and fussy cut them out.
The balloon was stamped firstly onto Whisper White card with Blushing Bride ink, then onto Blushing Bride card before punching out. I fussy cut the top and bottom parts and adhered them over the Whisper White balloon with Tombow.
The basket was stamped onto Soft Suede card with the same colour ink. Having the punch is a real bonus with this stamp set - so quick!
The balloon was adhered to the Stitched Shape with dimensionals. I added a trio of sequins for a bit of sparkle (adhered with Fine-Tip Glue).
I might have got a little carried away stamping the clouds on the inside!
Here is the completed card and envelope.
In the UK, it is exam season and this sentiment would be perfect to give to someone as a little boost don't you think?
I have two further C & C sessions this week, if you would like to join me to make this card and another project, you can all find the details here. Don't forget that if you place a £25 plus order on Thursday you can craft for free!
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Happy crafting!
