Customer Thank You Cards - June
So, I bought a new umbrella! It has rained so much here; 3 months worth of rain in just 3 days - my old brolly could not cope any longer!
My favourite colours and a lovely bird image that must have reminded me of something when I bought it.
Yep, the May Paper Pumpkin - Hugs from Shelli!
I think the bird is a Swift but please don't quote me on that! You can see it below on one of the cards I made recently with my kit.
I loved the colours on the brolly and they provided the inspiration for my customer thank you cards for June.
My project started with one of my favourite die cuts - a stitched rectangle.
I used a block (size H) and pressed about half of the length gently onto my Seaside Spray ink pad.
I used a Stampin' Spritz to spray water onto the block to allow the ink to move.
I then pressed the block onto the rectangle, holding in place for a few moments so that the ink could move and smoosh around.
This is such a fun technique - different results every time and a great one to try with children too.
I stamped lots of birds and spent an enjoyable 30 minutes or so colouring them in with the Stampin' Blends and fussy cutting them out. #lovemyjob
A single bird has been placed on the rectangle, adhered with a dimensional.
The panel was adhered to the card with dimensionals too. I could not resist adding a trio of my new favourite embellishments - the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment. The lovely little pot of sparkliness contains sequins in all of the new In Colours.
I stamped a single bird on the inside of the card (and the envelope).
Here is the completed card and envelope - the sentiment is one from the Paper Pumpkin kit too.
Everyone who places an order with me in June will receive one of these pretty cards. Don't forget to use the current Hostess Code (shown below) if you are ordering online and I will send you a little thank you gift too!
So, I hope my customers like their cards - it just goes to show that inspiration is all around us!
Unbelievably, the Hugs from Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit is still available - details below. It is such a lovely kit and I really enjoyed working with mine.
Thanks to everyone who chooses me as their Demonstrator - I really appreciate it.
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Happy crafting!
