A Good Man - Quick & Simple

Here are the details for our first project this week using a stamp set called A Good Man.

I used the fabulous Birch background stamp and Smoky Slate ink on a piece of thick ww 5 mm smaller than the card base to create my background.  These stamps are so big; I used my Stamparatus to make life easier!  The panel has been adhered to the card with dimensionals.

My favourite Stitched Rectangle dies were used (again), to cut a Night of Navy and a thick ww layer.

This lovely image of the man in the deck chair has been stamped with Memento ink and coloured with the Stampin' Blends.

Top Tip
Think about where you are colouring!  I made a mistake on a previous piece mistaking the stripes on the deck chair for part of the tee shirt!

The Night Of Navy rectangle has been adhered with Tombow and the coloured image has been adhered with dimensionals.

I used one of the small Stitched Shape circles for the sentiment which has been stamped in Night Of Navy.  You can also see part of the Birch background - I think I might be using this stamp a lot.

I stamped a sentiment on the inside with Night of Navy ink and also stamped the main image again, this time using Smoky Slate ink for a softer look.
