Beautiful Boughs - Joy Of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge #JSTTT012

Hello and welcome to the final Joy Of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge for 2019!  We are also delighted to welcome the very talented Libby Fens to our Design Team.

This month our grid has been chosen by all the members of the Design Team - I think I choose trees.

I chose the middle line; Jingle Bells, Sparkle and Ribbon.

I have made a couple of projects recently using what I think is one of my all time favourite colour combos that have proved very popular and will, in fact be the projects for my last workshops of 2019.

My project started with a little log slice that I bought on line.  I added some of this lovely reversible ribbon and then decided what I was going to to with it.

I had some die cut bits and pieces left over from a few previous projects so I decided to use those.

I used some fake snow on some of the pieces and Ice Stampin' Glitter on others to create a sparkly, frosty look.

I then arranged the die cut pieces on the wood slice adhering with dabs of Tombow just on the end of each stem.

I used one of my favourite Stitched Shape dies and stamped a sentiment from a stamp set called Playful Penguins.  I punched a small hole in the circle and added two tiny jingle bells threaded onto a piece of linen thread and a knot tied at the back of the circle.  The sentiment has been adhered to the log slice with dimensionals.

Here is my finished project - it will look lovely hanging on my tree!

This project coordinates with two other projects I created for recent Joy of Sets blog hops.

I was joined by a lovely group of crafty ladies yesterday evening for what was to be my last workshop of 2019 to make these projects.  However, a couple of ladies could not make the session so, they have persuaded me to hold a repeat workshop on Monday the 9th!  I have a couple of spaces available, if you would like to join us please let me know asap.
