Bonanza Buddies - quick & simple
Here are the details for our first project this week using the bright and colourful Bonanza Buddies stamp and die bundle.
How much fun are these cute little critters in the Birthday Bonanza Suite? I love them all but I think the toucan is my favourite.
We used the ww note cards for this quick and simple project.
The little toucan has been stamped with Memento onto a scrap of thick ww and cut out with the coordinating die. The beak has been coloured with Stampin' Blends.
The base layer is a piece of thick ww cut 5 mm smaller than the note card. We used Bermuda Bay for the sentiment. We then placed the toucan in position (without adhering) so that we could stamp the balloon strings. Of course, we moved the toucan out of the way before stamping!
We then choose three coordinating colours for our balloons. Two have been stamped directly onto the panel and the third onto a piece of scrap card. The third balloon was cut out with the die and adhered to the card with a mini dimensional. The toucan was also adhered with dimensionals.
We used the tiny pom pom image and Daffodil Delight to fill in some of the 'white' space.
Of course the inside and the envelope were stamped to coordinate. This little image is so useful - great for covering little splodges!

I will be making lots of these useful note cards this week using all three of the animals in this lovely stamp set.
