Best Dressed - quick & simple

Here are the details for our first project this week using the Best Dressed
Bundle.  I have a bit of a thing for red shoes - I have several pairs, a handbag, boots and also a rather splendid pair of red leather gloves too!  So when it came to choosing a colour for these shoes it was, for once, a very easy decision for me to make!

Craftyduckydoodah!, Best Dressed Suite, Susan Simpson UK Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store, Spring / Summer 2020,

To create the Best Dressed card
Smoky Slate 29 x 10.5 cm scored at 14.5 cm
WW Thick 10 cm x 14 cm
WW 10 x 14 cm (inside)
Designer Series Paper 10 cm x 2cm

You will also need scraps of ww thick and Basic Black.

To create the die cut elements
Stamp two shoes with Memento ink onto thick ww.  Cut out with the coordinating die and colour with Stampin' Blends.

Adhere the strip of DSP across the thick ww panel with Tombow. Die cut a single bag handle from black

To assemble the card
Adhere the strip of DSP across the thick ww panel with Tombow.  Die cut a single bag handle from black card and adhere on top of the DSP with Tombow.

Stamp the sentiment with Stazon ink just above the black strip.  Using Stazon will create a rich black image.  Love, love, love this sentiment!  Adhere the panel to the card base with dimensionals.

I adhered the shoes with dimensionals and added three tiny jewels to the black strip for a bit of sparkle.

Stamp a single shoe onto the panel of ww card with Memento and colour with Stampin' Blends.  Adhere to the inside of the card with double sided tape.

I have several friends for whom this card would be absolutely perfect for - I will be making several versions using different colours.

COVID-19
I have decided to cancel classes until further notice following the latest government advice.

I will continue to post project ideas etc and take advantage of extra crafting time.  Hopefully things will get back to normal as soon as possible.

Stay safe and please, think of the elderly and vulnerable who may need assistance over the coming weeks.
