Beautiful Moments stepped up
Here are the details for the second project this week using a stamp set called Beautiful Moments.
These beautiful line art images are perfect for watercolour techniques.
Here is my project.
To create the Beautiful Moments card
Petal Pink is the perfect colour for skin and, I used Soft Suede for the hair. I added additional colour once the first layer was dry and intentionally left small areas uncoloured to act as highlights. I used tiny dabs of Calypso Coral to add colour to the butterflies.
To assemble the Beautiful Moments Card
I used dimensionals to adhere the layers to the card. I decided not to add a sentiment - I will keep it until I need it!
I also decorated the inside of the card. Not sure why I did not add some colour here but I can always revisit!
Here is the completed card and envelope.
I had a lot of fun choosing colours for this project - so many options. I also decided to create a similar version (using the same colours) with the Stampin' Blends. You will be able to see this alternative project when I hop with Stampers Showcase next week. Here is a sneaky peak!
I will be back at the weekend taking part in a blog hop using a favourite set I have not used for a while called Free As A Bird.
Stay safe and well, happy crafting!

If you use the current Hostess Code I will pop something in with your order or post directly to you. (Please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).

Here is my project.
To create the Beautiful Moments card
21 cm x 14.5 cm ww thick scored at 10.5 cm
13 xm x 9 xm Highland Heather
12 cm x 8 cm watercolour paper
To create the water colour panel
Use the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut a panel from Highland Heather and another from thick ww.
Stamp the images with Stazon ink. I used an Aqua Painter and some Pool Party ink to add colour around the main image - you can just about see it below.
Next add a wash of Pear Pizzazz ink and some flicks of colour to the stems and grasses. Once this layer of colour was dry I added a darker line along the top edge to add a little extra definition.
I coloured the dress with Highland Heather going back to add more colour to some areas once the first layer was dry.
I added tiny dabs of Night Of Navy to the flowers.
