Do The Impossible - quick & simple

Here are the details for the first project this week using a stamp set called Do The Impossible.

I have been on a mission for some time now to use up the pile of bits and pieces that all crafters seem to accumulate.  I don't think I will ever use them all but I am pleased to say I used two of them for this project!

I'm not a fan of running; I have a theory that it is not good for your at all but, I know people who enjoy it.

Here is my project.

Craftyduckydoodah!, Do The Impossible, Mosaic Madness, Stitched Rectangles, Susan Simpson UK Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Spring / Summer 2020, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store,

To create the Do The Impossible card
21 cm x 14.5 cm Night Of Navy - scored at 10.5 cm
10 cm x 14 cm ww thick
10 cm x 14 cm ww regular (insert)
5 cm x 13 cm Real Red
Small piece of thick ww for the die cuts

To create the background
I used the Mosaic 3D embossing folder on the piece of thick ww card and adhered to the card base with Tombow.

The Triple Banner Punch is a firm favourite of mine - I use it a lot.  Punch one end of the Real Red card and then adhere to the embossed panel with Tombow.

To create the stamped panel
I used the Stitched Rectangle dies with a piece of thick ww card.  The image has been stamped with Memento and coloured with the Stampin' Blends.

I also cut the smallest rectangle for my sentiment, stamping with Memento.  The rectangle was a little long for my project.  Did you know that you can customise some die cuts?

Top Tip
If you position the die onto the cut out rectangle, moving around until it lines up with die cut stitches you can run through the Big Shot again and create a custom die cut!

I also created an insert for this project using the 10 cm x 14 cm regular ww card.  I stamped the sentiment with Night Of Navy ink and then stamped the image of the joggers using Smoky Slate ink. The insert has been adhered with double sided tape.

The embossed panel and the Real Red strip were from my scrap pile.  I will be back later this week to share another project made using Do The Impossible - it's a special card made for my son!

Stay safe and well, happy crafting!
