Ornate Style - stepped up

Here are the details for the second project this week using items from the Ornate Garden Suite.

The Ornate Style Bundle (10% bundle discount) offers great value for money.  Look at all the intricate dies - so pretty!  I confess I have a bit of a thing for daisies so this set was at the top of my wish list as soon as it was available and I have used it a lot already.

The project:

The colours I used:

21 cm x 14.5 xm Smoky Slate - scored at 10.5 cm
10 cm x 14 cm ww thick
10 cm x 13 cm ww regular
11 cm x 9 cm Smoky Slate for die cutting

The die cutting:
I used the small piece of Smoky Slate to cut three floral panels.  I used the stitched rectangle die and the little floral die included in this bundle, you need to cut three of them.

The colouring:
Stamp the floral image onto the thick ww panel using Memento ink.  I used Stampin' Blends to colour the image.

To assemble:
Once you have all the pieces this card it really quick and simple to assemble.  I used Tombow to adhere one of the die cut pieces to the thick ww panel and then used dimensionals to adhere the panel to the card front.

The details:
I adhered another of the die cut pieces to the regular ww panel (Tombow) and then adhered the panel to the inside of the card with double sided tape.

I used the final die cut to decorate the envelope, adhering with Tombow.

The card and envelope:
I used the Gilded Gems (again) to add some sparkle and draw the eye into the image.  I really like this card, the colours are so fresh.

I have been thinking about colour a lot recently as I am trying decide on a colour scheme for my new kitchen.  Grey kitchens are everywhere at the moment aren't they?

I hope you have enjoyed my project shares this week using items from the Ornate Garden Suite.  Whatever your style of crafting this Suite has something for everyone.

I am back at the weekend hopping with the talented team in another Kre8tors Blog Hop.  I have a very manly project to share with you - if you don't like scuffed edges you may want to look away!

Have a crafty weekend.

Stay safe and well.
