In The Pines - take two!

Hello, a short time ago I took part in a Kre8tors Blog Hop using the In The Pines bundle.

Quite often when I am working on a project I make more than one version of a project.  This was the case with this project as I couldn't decide whether to do a portrait or landscape card.

So, I thought I would share it with you today!

Here is my project:

Craftyduckydoodah, In The Pines, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020,

You will need:

21 cm x 14.5 cm ww thick - scored at 10.5 cm

10 cm x 14 cm ww thick

10 cm x 3 cm strip of ww thick

Small piece of ww thick for stamping and die cutting

For details of how I created the background have a look at my previous project HERE.

The tweaks!

I used a full width piece of the metallic mesh ribbon - I had to stretch it a little to fill the gap between the snowy mound and the start of the trees!

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the snowy mound

The inside/envelope:

I stamped a single tree using Bermuda Bay on the inside of the card and the front of the envelope.  I used a Pool Party Blend to ground the tree and stamped some falling snow using Coastal Cabanna ink. When I was tidying my desk I realised that there is a stamp in the set I could have used to ground the tree!

Here is the completed card and envelope:

As a Libran I find it difficult to make decisions; I like both versions of this project for different reasons!

Craftyduckydoodah, In The Pines, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020,

I am taking a few days off to get everything ready for Christmas but I will be back between Christmas and the New Year with my round up of the year posts.  I also have a feeling I have a blog hop at some point too.

Details of the products I used for this project can be found in my previous post  which can be found HERE.

Have a happy and safe Christmas wherever you are in the World.

Here's hoping 2021 will be an improvement on this year!
