Bloom Where You're Planted - Ink Stamp Share

Hello and welcome to the latest Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop, for our hop today we are sharing projects we are working on at the moment.  If you are starting here with me at Craftyducky HQ or you have hopped over from my crafty friend Mo Rootes, we have lots of different projects to share with you this month.

Craftyduckydoodah, Bloom Where You're Planted, Stampin' Up!, Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop,

I have a really simple project on my desk at the moment.  I am planning ahead (not usual at all for me) for an upcoming workshop.  I always like to give my crafty ladies a little thank you gift.  I do try to find something that fits with the theme of the workshop but this is sometimes a little tricky!  However, this project started with me finding these super cute candles and then I planned the workshop around them!!

Of course I am using items from the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite that are just made for these candles (or should that be the other way around)?

Here is my project:
Simple packaging that does not detract from the candle inside!

You will need:
5 cm x 5 cm piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Small pieces of Basic White Thick (BWT) and Crumb Cake for die cutting

Score, fold and assemble the acetate box. Place the DSP inside the box.  I decided not to use a mini glue dot as I knew the candle would keep the DSP in place.

Next for the tag, I almost missed the Tailor Made Tags, tucked away on page 166 of th Annual Catalogue. Tags and ring reinforcers in two different styles, each in 4 different sizes - I love them!  I will be using them a lot in the run up to Christmas and of course, anything with a stitched edge is fine with me!

I used a piece of BWT card and cut out the smallest tag.  I used a scrap of Crumb Cake card to cut out the reinforcer piece and adhered with tiny dabs of Tombow.

I used this lovely handwritten sentiment from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set, stamped with Evening Evergreen ink onto the tag.

I added an Opal Round for a bit of sparkle!

Next, I used the Evening Evergreen open weave ribbon, wrapping around the box and tying in a simple bow.  I have used this lovely ribbon a lot - I'm on my third reel!  I then used a small piece of Linen Thread to attach the tag, tying in a simple knot.

Here are some of the finished table gifts; I hope my crafty ladies like them as much as I do!
