Eden's Garden - Ink Stamp Share

Hello and welcome to another Ink Stamp Share blog Hop where we are sharing what's on our desk -  I currently have items from the Eden's Garden Suite that has been waiting patiently for me to play with them for some time now!

Craftyduckydoodah!, Stampin' Up!, Eden's Garden, Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop,

If you are starting here with me at Craftyducky HQ or have hopped over from the lovely Tricia, welcome - we have lots of inspiration to share with you this month.

The Eden's Garden Collection is available now ahead of the January - June mini catalogue launch.  Stems, twigs, berries and sprigs abound in this beautiful collection.  The collection also contains a brand new product - cotton paper.  With a similar feel to tissue paper you can cut, rip, crinkle, punch, die cut, fold and of course stamp on it.  There are also some rather fabulous embellishments in the collection that I already need to order more of!

Here is my project:
The colours in this collection are so pretty, I love all shades of green.  However, I decided to use different colours for my project.  I love using white space on my projects and this clean and simple project is 'very me'.

You will need:
21cm x 14.5 cm Basic White Thick (BWT) - scored at 10.5 cm
10 cm x 14 cm BWT
8cm x 2 cm BST
10 cm x 14 cm Merry Merlot
9.5 cm x 13.5 cm BWT

The stamping:
I used my Stamparatus for this project, inking up the image using sponge daubers.  I was able to re stamp my project several times until I was happy with the colour build up.  I stamped the image to the left of the BWT panel but you could very easily change the orientation if you prefer.

I love how the colours overlap and the texture achieved with these Distinktive stamps is simply stunning.

The sentiment:
I used a sentiment from Heartfelt Wishes which has been stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.  I love handwritten fonts for sentiments - I just wish my handwriting looked this good!

To assemble:
I scuffed the edges of my stamped panel and then adhered to the card base with dimensionals.  The sentiment has also been adhered with dimensionals.

Finished project:
I was quite pleased with how my project turned out but felt it needed a little something extra ...

Craftyduckydoodah!, Stampin' Up!, Eden's Garden, Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop,

The Garden Gems were just what I needed!  I added several around the stamped image to draw the eye in - what a difference they made, these lovely gems are so pretty!

The inside/envelope:
I adhered the panel of Merry Merlot to the inside of the card using Tombow.  I then used the sponge daubers to add ink to my image and stamped in the corner of the BWT panel.

I scuffed the edges of the panel and adhered using Tombow.  I don't usually add jewels to the inside of my projects but felt I needed to as there are no berries on this particular image.  I also stamped the image on the envelope flap (I resisted adding jewels to the envelope)!

Completed project:
I can see so many possibilities for the Eden's Garden Suite

Craftyduckydoodah!, Stampin' Up!, Eden's Garden, Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop,
