Craftyduckydoodah! July Updates
Hello and welcome to July and the realisation that we are already half way through the year - how did that happen? My newsletter is a little later than planned, various appointments, a change in meds and a few days away have me chasing my tail! There is a lot happening in the world of SU so as always, here is all the information you need in one place.
July - December Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration!
Lots of lovely new goodies including Autumn and Christmas themed items. If you have not got your copy of the new mini catalogue let me know and I will get one to you asap.
Sale-A-Bration (SAB) 2 is also live. Here are the SAB details. Remember SAB2 is only around during July and August and, when free stock items are depleted they will not be back.
Shop
Spend £45 and choose any of the free products in the £45 category in the SAB brochure for free.
Spend £90 and choose either the special products towards the back of the brochure or two from the £45 category.
Even better, you can order as many items as you like with each multiple of £45!
Join
If you have a long wish list (I know I have) why not consider joining my team? For just £99 you get to choose £130 of any products (not the SAB freebies) and you get this lovely planner, stamp set and accessories too.
Host/Rewards
You don't actually have to host a Stampin' Up! party (unless you want to of course). It means that when you place an order over £275 you will receive the Perfect Pomegranate stamp set for free as well as the SAB freebies.
New Kits
We have not one but two fabulous new kits available.
Kits are a fun and easy way to be creative. Our paper-crafting kits come with everything you need to create artistically designed handmade projects and include full step by step instructions, pre cut pieces and more. There is a kit for many different occasions. You can find all the details of these new kits and others that are available HERE. If you need a crafty fix whilst you are on holiday a kit might be just what you need!
World Watercolour Month
July is World Watercolour Month! Watercolouring is one of my favourite things to do and there are so many different techniques that you can have fun with.
We did a spot of colouring with the Aqua Painters at this weeks Coffee and Cards session and I will try to fit in another session showing different techniques that can be used on projects later this month.
We used a fabulous free SAB2 stamp set for our projects this week called Stylish Sketches.
Classes and Workshops
For this months workshop we will be using a lovely bundle called Waves of Inspiration to create three stylish cards using a variety of techniques.
I have two sessions available. We will be stamping, die cutting, heat embossing and doing lots of ink blending so we are going to be busy! (Gloves to protect hands/nails provided). The cost of the workshop is £18 and includes my famous frothy coffee!
Friday 15th July 7pm - 9:30pm
Saturday 16th July 2pm - 4:30pm
Coffee & Cards
Fun and relaxed craft session complete with good company and frothy coffee! Sessions are a mix of different techniques or card folds and are limited to 4 people. Projects are made from scratch so you will need to bring a paper trimmer with you if you have one too. Sessions usually take place on Tuesday afternoons, 2pm - 4pm and cost £10.
Here is a recent project - a very special domed diorama card. The following week we made a coordinating box and gift tag.
Classes and workshops take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated. For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives.
Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.
I would love to know which items in the new mini catalogue you have on your wish list and also which SAB2 items you have your eyes on. I have quite a long wish list - no surprise there really!
