Craftyduckydoodah! February Updates

Hello and welcome to February. I hope everyone is enjoying the new mini catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration freebies (I know I am)!!  This month, after a lot of soul searching I have reluctantly had to increase Coffee & Cards session prices - see below for full details.

January was such a busy month, I am hoping things settle down in February.

Craft sessions every Monday afternoon at McCartney House are proving popular, the ladies are getting so good and are making lots of fabulous projects.  We have even decided to set up a little enterprise project selling items we make to residents, staff and guests - how cool is that!

As ever, there is a lot happening in the world of Stampin' Up! so, here is all the information you need for this month.  

Mini Catalogue and Sale-Abration Brochures

I've had a few people message me to say that their brochures have not arrived yet.  If you were expecting copies from me and they haven't turned up, please let me know asap as I have a few spares.

New Kits

I mentioned last month that Stampin' Up! will be launching two new kits each and every month this year.

Kits are only available whilst supplies last.  They are perfect for crafting on the 'go' or to give as gifts.  Several of my crafty friends love kits to craft with non crafty friends or their grandchildren (lucky things)!

Birthday Sparkle Kit

This kit includes six cards and six gift tags.  Create each project with the included stamp set, die cut paper pieces and twine.  It also includes other elements such as glitter stickers, press wood picks, coordinating envelopes and gold foil paper pieces!

Sale-A-Bration (SAB)

Alternatively, if you want to join Stampin’ Up! during Sale-A-Bration but are interested in a different offer, you can get £130 worth of your choice of product PLUS an additional £30 worth of product of your choice when you join for £99. That’s a £160 value! 

Coffee & Cards - important information

Price increases are everywhere and sadly here at Craftyducky HQ I have had to make the decision to increase the Coffee & Cards session prices to £12.  Basic material costs are rising and I have held off an increase for as long as I can.  Increasing the price will allow me to continue to offer great classes with many options each week without skimping on materials.

I have also decided to introduce a deposit system for these classes.  A rolling £12 deposit will secure you place at a Coffee & Card session.  If you reserve a place and are unable to attend I will do my best to find someone to fill you place.  If I can't, you will loose your deposit BUT, I will save the basic materials for you - please note as per SU rules, I am not allowed to include stamped images.  To reserve your place at another session you will need to pay a deposit again.

Coffee & Cards sessions continue to be very popular.  If you are unable to attend the regular morning session drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.

During January we made a few fun fold projects - one of which were these fabulous stepper box cards.

If there is a particular project you would like to make let me know and I will see what I can do.

February Workshop

Date:  Saturday 17th February 2 - 4pm at Craftyducky HQ, Godmanchester

Cost: £22 - includes materials, use of equipment, tuition and light refreshments.  

This month we will be using the fabulous Nature's Sweetness Suite of products.  I love, love love this suite!!

We will be making three projects, one of which is a decorated notebook - perfect as a gift for someone special or to keep for yourself.

Full payment is the only way to guarantee you places as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.

Sorry, no refunds unless I cancel the event.  If for any reason you are unable to attend, I will do my best to find someone to take your place but can't guarantee to do so.  If I can't your kit will be available for collection after the event.

Team Event

We  had quite a few team ducklings meet up last year but I thought it was time for another!

Date: Friday 1st March at Craftyducky HQ - 7pm onwards.

Cost: £10 for current ducklings team members.

If any non team member would like to join us (space permitting) the cost will be £20.

The lovely Liz will also be demonstrating a project for us too this time - I can't wait to see what she shares with us!

Bookings taken on a first come first served basis with full payment to secure your places.

For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives - I have limited supplies available for sale on the day if you forget or run out. Classes take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated.
