Craftyduckydoodah! October Updates

Hello and welcome to October - my favourite time of the year!  I'm looking forward to my fist scrunch/swish through some lovely leaves - well I would be but I have done something silly to the tendons in my ankle!  Hopefully all will be sorted soon.

As I am sure you will all be aware, prices are increasing everywhere and I have had to make the difficult decision to increase the cost of C & C sessions to £15. My regular crafty ladies have been very supportive on this.  The increase will allow me to continue to offer the sessions without skimping on materials. 

NEW!! - Felting Workshops with Craftyduckydoodah!

Saturday 19th October - 2pm to 4:30pm

Cost: £35 and includes all materials, equipment and light refreshments.  Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.  Full payment is required to secure your place.

(If you have your own needle holders, mats etc feel free to bring them with you).

Join me for a fun crafty session working to create this lovely needle felted egg.  This project is perfect for beginners or experienced felters alike. The finished egg is around 9cm.  

Two further felting workshops will be added in the run up to Christmas too so, keep an eye on my events page for details!

Workshops

Coffee & Cards Workshop (10:30 - 1pm)

Cost £28 - please note this is a repeat of the morning workshop!

This month we will be using the Frosted Forest Bundle to create three stunning projects.  We will be stamping, die cutting and using decorative masks with inks and blending brushes.  I will share detail of the projects on my facebook page shortly.

Coffee & Cards (C & C)

Each week we make different projects, it could be a fancy fold or a new technique; there is always something different to try each week!  During September we worked on a variety of projects.  Everyone enjoyed using a stamp set called Racing By to create the cards below - one of them was a spinner card!

We ad a special visitor to this class too; Judy's lovely Dad joined us - he did a splendid job with his cards!

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester.  The cost is £15 and includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.

If you are unable to attend the regular morning session drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you. 

For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives - I have limited supplies available for sale on the day if you forget or run out.

Classes take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.

Sorry, no refunds unless I cancel the event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, I will do my best to find someone else to take your place but can't guarantee to do so. If not, your workshop kit will be available for collection after the event (kit will include basic supplies but no stamped images as per SU rules).

Godmanchester Town Show

The lovely ladies from McCartney House made their first appearance at the Godmanchester Town Show.  It was a lovely sunny day and several of the crafty ladies were able to come along too which was lovely.

Thank you to all my local friends who stopped by to say 'hello' and make a purchase.  All monies raised selling their crafty makes will be used to provide extra treats for residents.
