Hello and welcome to September!  Last week was the first day of Autumn - its my favourite time of the year.  Still potential for lovely weather but I always look forward to scrunching through fallen leaves!  Speaking of leaves, have you seen the details of a fabulous home decor project shown below yet?  Lots happening as usual as well as details of a fabulous free event taking place on the 4th October!

September - December Mini Catalogue

Items are available from the 3rd September.  Lots of fabulous new goodies for this time of year including Christmas items.  Now is the time to get ahead with your Christmas crafting!  New products can be viewed online but I personally prefer to flick through a catalogue - do you?  If you have not yet got a copy, let me know asap.

World Card Making Day 2025

An exciting opportunity to join our free virtual event in celebration of World Card Making Day, our favourite day of the year! During this event you will:

New Mini Catalogue

New Online Exclusives

September the 5th also sees the launch of the latest offerings in the Online Exclusive.  So many new items including Autumn, Halloween and of course, Christmas!

One of my favourite items is the Modern Christmas Suite.  It jumped straight into my pre-order basket!  I have been using it a lot - it is really good for those difficult masculine projects and will be the focus of my September workshop (details below)!

Coffee & Cards

I think my favourite projects from August sessions were the ones below made with a variety of retired stamps and dies following a request from one of my crafty ladies.

A close second were these vibrant cards made with a stand alone stamp set called Along These Lines.  Projects were coloured with the Stampin' Blends

During September we will be making a variety of projects - some of them for Christmas using new goodies!

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester.  The cost is £15 and includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.  

If there is a project you particularly want to create and you are unable to attend the regular morning session, drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.

Workshops

Workshops during September featured the fabulous Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder; it was a technique workshop and allowed attendees lots of time to play and experiment.

Have you tried water colouring an embossed panel of water colour cardstock?  The ladies all loved this technique and, each piece turned out differently.

Everyone completed four cards and there were lots of other pieces, die cut frames etc to take home.

September Workshops

As mentioned above we will be using the stunning Modern Christmas Suite this month.  We will be creating a fancy fold project and stunning cards perfect for those tricky men in our lives along with a hanging decoration that could also double up as a posh gift tag!

I love everything about this suite!  The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is bold and on trend with contemporary black, white and gold sheets with modern designs and patterns with shimmering gold foil.  Did I mention they were perfect for masculine projects too!

If you know you will love this suite as much as I do, why not add it to your workshop so that you can carry on creating at home?

The cost for the suite is £85.50 and includes the stamps, dies, DSP, Gold Hoops and Twine bundle.

Upgrade your workshop to option 2 for £105 to save on the basic cost of the workshop.

For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives - I have limited supplies available for sale on the day if you forget or run out.

Classes take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.

Sorry, no refunds unless I cancel the event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, I will do my best to find someone else to take your place but can't guarantee to do so. If not, your workshop kit will be available for collection after the event (kit will include basic supplies but no stamped images as per SU rules).

Godmanchester Town Show

The McCartney House ladies are having a stall at our local town show on Saturday 6th September.  If you live locally, please pop by to say hello!
