Craftyduckydoodah! February Updates!

Hello and welcome to February - I confess I am not sure where January went are you?  I have been very busy in my craft-room working on projects for upcoming classes and workshops - I am all organised and prepped for February - normal service will be resumed shortly I am sure!  The goodies I ordered from the mini catalogue have certainly ignited a very productive crafty spark.  

My mammoth craft room tidy up continues - I am finding things I didn't know I had lost so am constantly distracted!  I have a little list of missing items that have still not turned up!  Do you loose things in your craft-room too?  I am also busy reorganising how I store my stamp and die sets too - the new packaging is proving a challenge!

What’s the Stampin’ Positioner?

Coffee & Cards

It is a sad fact that the cost of everything is rising and I have had to make the difficult decision to increase the cost of Coffee & Cards sessions.  With immediate effect, sessions will cost £18.  The last time I increased the cost was 2024 and since then there have been significant increases for all class materials. Sessions will follow the usual format and will still include light refreshments.

My favourite projects in January were these we made using the Fragrant Layers Bundle.  It is definitely my current favourite bundle!

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.  

If there is a project you particularly want to create and you are unable to attend the regular morning session, drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.

Workshops

Our January workshop featured the Cute As A Bug suite of products.  We created three cards and a little treat box.

Workshops this month will feature another favourite suite of mine, the Lovely Blossoms Suite.I love the fresh colours in this suite - over the course of a weekend I got carried away and created so many projects.  So many that we will also be using products at an upcoming Coffee & Cards session too!

We will be creating four projects; one a fun fold and one using a partial die cutting technique. We will be stamping, die cutting and colouring so we are going to be busy!

When:     Tuesday 17th February 10:30 - 1pm

When:    Wednesday 18th February 7 - 9:30pm (this is a repeat of the Tuesday class)

Cost:     £37 and includes a 1/3 pack of Designer Series Paper (and 12 x 12" plastic sleeve), all pre prepped materials, use of equipment and light refreshments.

Booking is essential to avoid disappointment.  Please bring basic craft kit with you (scissors, bone folder, poky tool) paper trimmer and your preferred adhesives.

A limited selection of adhesives will be available for purchase on the day should you forget or run out.

Classes are achievable by beginners and experienced crafters alike.

Children's Half-Term Workshop

By special request a workshop full of fun for children!  We will be creating four projects, a 'wobbler' card, a Daffodil windmill, an Easter basket and a hanging stacking bunny (not shown).

We will be stamping, ink blending, die cutting, paper weaving, colouring and constructing so we are going to be very busy!!

Suitable for ages 7 and up, adult supervision required please.

When:    Thursday February 19th 1:30 - 3:30pm  This session is fully booked.

When:     Wednesday 18th February 1:30 - 3:30pm

Cost:       £18 to include all materials, use of equipment and light refreshments. There will also be an extra treat to take home too!
