Hello and welcome to November!  Where has this year gone?  How are you getting on with your Christmas crafting - just a few weeks left!  Here at Craftyducky HQ we have been creating Christmas cards for several weeks now and, the regular C & C ladies are building up quite a stash of cards.

I have surgery scheduled for the 17th November - I am very busy trying to do everything I would normally do by the end of the year in two weeks - eek!!

If you have come to one of my classes or workshops you will know that I am very impressed with the new Hot Foil System from SU.  There are lots of stunning new goodies available to use with the system.  I love, love, love Dandelion Glow.  I can't wait to get my hands on it and have a play!!

During October we mainly focussed on Christmas projects.  One of my favourites were these projects made with the long since retired Poinsettia Petals bundle with a Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock colour combo.

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester and cost just £18 - all materials, tuition, equipment and light refreshments are included.  If you have a paper trimmer and basic tools (scissors, bone folder etc) please bring with you along with your preferred adhesives.  A limited supply of adhesives are available to purchase if you forget or run out.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.  

If there is a project you particularly want to create and you are unable to attend the regular morning session, drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.

We used the stunning Neutral Noel Suite for our October Workshops.  I really like this suite, so many ideas, so little time!

The projects we made had a real luxury feel to them thanks to the stunning gold foiled DSP in this suite.

The easel cards with a hidden tea light proved very popular!

We had so much fun using this suite that we will be using it again for our November workshops too!  We will be making three further luxury gold foiled projects including one that has a real WOW factor.  Here is a sneaky peak!

Booking is essential to avoid disappointment, this will be a very popular workshop.  Please bring basic craft kit with you (scissors, bone folder, poky tool) paper trimmer and your preferred adhesives.

A limited selection of adhesives will be available for purchase on the day should you forget or run out.

Classes are achievable by beginners and experienced crafters alike.

Looking for the perfect embellishment for a project, can't find the colour that you need?  Did you know that you can use any Stampin' Blend pen to colour gems and ribbon?  Well you can!!  

I used a Secret Sea Stampin' Blend to change to colour of these jewels and this pretty ribbon - all ready for an upcoming project!!

Every Sunday I have a post on facebook where you can share your recent crafty makes, ask a crafty question or ask for help with a project decision (I do this often)!!

Lots of festive makes this month - my favourite is this work in progress by Bev.  It will be a fantastic card for her granddaughter - I am looking forward to seeing the finished project soon.
