2020 - 2022 In Colours

Hello and welcome to another Stamp 'N Hop blog hop.  We are a group of Demonstrators from around the World who love to share our passion for papercrafting.

If you are starting here with me or joining from the USA and the talented Jen Charles, welcome - we have lots of lovely projects to share with you this month featuring the 2020 - 2022 In Colours.

I have to say that I really do love all the new In Colours this year.  It was tricky to decide which colour to use and, if I had had more time, I think I would have made a version of my project using each of the new In Colours!

However, I had to decide as I was short on time so I went with Misty Moonlight and the Blossoms In Bloom Bundle.

Craftyduckydoodah, Blossoms In Bloom, Stampin' Up,

The Blossoms In Bloom Bundle comprises of the stamps and the Many Layered Blossoms dies.  I love the watercolour look of the images that you can achieve with a single stamped image.  The coordinating dies offer so many possibilities to create different flowers and add lots of layers to projects.  There are also lots of useful sentiments in this set making it very versatile.

Here is my project:

The colours I used:

You will need:
21 cm x 14.5 cm Misty Moonlight - scored at 10.5 cm
10 x 14 cm ww thick - front panel
10 cm x 14 cm ww regular - insert
ww thick for die cutting
Misty Moonlight scrap for die cutting

The background:
I used my Stamparatus to stamp this lovely large floral image in the corner of the ww thick panel using Misty Moonlight ink.  I then embossed the panel using my new favourite 3D embossing folder - Tasteful Textile.

You can just about see the lovely embossed texture in the photo below but it looks much better in real life.

The die cutting:
I used a piece of ww thick card to die cut the outline for the stamped image. I used dabs of Tombow to adhere over the stamped image.

Once the glue has dried, trim from the back of the panel for a neat and tidy finish.

The inside:
I stamped another partial image on the corner of the regular whisper white panel and adhered to the inside of the card with double sided tape.

To assemble:
Wrap a length of coordinating ribbon around the panel adhering on the reverse with double sided tape.  Adhere the panel to the card base with dimensionals.

The sentiment:
Die cut one of the Stitched Rectangle dies using thick ww and stamp the sentiment with Misty Moonlight ink.

Adhere to the bottom of the card with dimensionals.

Top Tip
I used the edge strips from the sheets of dimensionals to cut small, thin strips.  Adhere the strips to the top and bottom edge of the sentiment so that it can sit perfectly over the ribbon without wobbling.

The details:
Die cut the small flowers from this set using ww and Misty Moonlight card.  Carefully adhere the top layer with dabs of Tombow.  I added one of the In Colour Enamel Dots to the centre and adhered with a dimensional.

The finished project:
I also stamped the envelope to coordinate.

Craftyduckydoodah, Blossoms In Bloom, Stampin' Up,
