Celebrate Today!
Hello - I am sharing something very special with you today, we are definitely celebrating in our house as it is my daughter Rosie's 21st Birthday!
She is totally awesome; kind, generous, loving, caring, clever, funny, witty, cheeky, entertaining, hard working and totally brilliant in every way - well to us anyway!
This is the card I made for her - like me she has a thing for ducks!
Not forgetting the reverse (and as I had an extra ducky):
Her main present is a gorgeous heart pendant from Clogau Gold with a hidden angel inside that I hope she will keep forever and pass on to her children someday.
Those of you who follow me on Facebook may have seen a post from the end of last week; I had a bright idea (or so I thought). Rosie is an avid reader and I had seen on the internet books with folded pages that spelt out various words.
This was my first attempt - when I get chance I will try to figure out what I did wrong!
And then after carefully re measuring and folding the pages I managed to produce this!
And here it is finished; decorated in her favourite colour:
Thank goodness I didn't decide to attempt to spell out 'daughter' as the word 'read' took me all day as it was!
I did of course use Stampin' Up! products, a list of what I used can be found below.
