What a difference a year makes ......

Hello again, now that I am back from Stampin' Up! Regional Event in Telford I can share what I have been up to recently!

When I first found Stampin' Up! I was immediately drawn to the 2013 - 2015 In Colours - they were right up my street!  These colour collections take the guesswork out of matching colours, so coordination is simple for everyone, even me!

This is one of the very first cards I made with Stampin' Up! products using Gorgeous Grunge and the Elegant Butterfly Punch.

Not long after making this card I took the plunge and signed up as an Independent Demonstrator!

Every year Stampin' Up! launch 5 new In Colours and this means that the In Colours that grabbed my interest and got me totally addicted to Stampin' Up! at the end of 2014 are about to retire :(

However, this means that five new colours have arrived to keep palette's fresh and exciting and they will only be available for two years.

If you would like to see the new In Colours yourself please ask me how you can get hold of the new catalogue which launches at the beginning of June.

This is my updated version of the card above using the new In Colours  for 2015 - 2017 (this is also what I made to swap with other Demonstrators at Telford).

Close up detail of the butterfly below - I punched out 153 butterflies and carefully layered them up to give some definition and movement ... it was a little bit fiddly but I think it was worth the effort.

We also had to make our own name badge so I just had to recreate my craftyduckydoodah - unfortunately I lost a pearl from the necklace but I am sure you will get the idea - the crown was a bit tricky to cut out but I think it did the job quite well!

All in all, it was a brilliant weekend, fun, informative and very inspiring shared with some  great creative friends.  My Upline, Mikaela was asked to do a presentation - this meant that she got to play with a fantastic new product before its launch and show us what can be achieved with it (if you look closely at the front of the new catalogue you can just catch a peak of this on the top left).   Although Mikeala was very nervous she did a wonderful job - the little green and white Tin of Cards Project Kit comes with everything your need to make 16 fantastic cards and is definitely on my wish list!

We were able to have a play with some new products too and do a make and take card - I will share this with you very soon and show you the gifts I made for fellow team members.

Stampin' Up! gave us some goodies; a really useful black tote bag to take to classes and workshops, a calculator and a free catalogue. I was also lucky enough to win a prize!

I made some fantastic swaps with other Demonstrators and will show some of my favourites in my next post.

There are so many exciting new products in the new catalogue and I can't wait to share them with you very soon.

Thanks for reading my blog - please leave a comment so that I know someone is out there!
