Petal Potpourri with a little Floral Wings

Hello.  Today I am sharing a card I made using the new In Colour Cardstock in Mint Macaron.  I absolutely love this colour, especially stamped with the same colour ink!

I used one of the new Hostess only sets called Floral Wings - what a fabulous set and so versatile too!  I only used the long vine border and the small flower as I am waiting for the thinlet die that matches the gorgeous two step stamping butterfly to arrive - I will share this with you next week!

For the main image I used one of the stamps from Petal Potpourri and a matching punch using the stained glass technique.  If you don't have Petal Potpourri you could use an image from Flower Shop, this set also has a matching punch.

I stamped the vine border on the inside and the envelope flap too - love this look, it is so pretty!

I will do a quick step by step next week on the stained glass technique in case you haven't seen it before; it is a very delicate but effective way to add colour to vellum. I have used this technique for many years but only recently found out what it was called!

To find out how you can get Hostess only stamp sets, send me an email and I will send you details.

Thanks for looking at my Blog, details of products used can be found below.
