Butterfly Basics Wedding Collection and a Ducky Disaster!
Hello, I am sharing with you today two of the items I made recently for the Wedding Fair I was asked to attend in Fen Drayton. I took my little crafty ducky along with me to put on display - I know I brought it home with me but I can't find it anywhere; I have looked, and looked, and she is probably somewhere safe so I hope she will turn up soon! When I came to take these photographs I had to borrow another little ducky from my daughter's collection (thank you Rosie)- not quite the same but I hope it will do until I find my pink crafty ducky.
I wanted to show you today how the choice of colour for the base card can give you a very different feel to projects. The first item was made using Whisper White cardstock; it is a little pocket with a pull out insert (decorated to match) and would make a lovely invitation or a thank you note.
Next I used Very Vanilla cardstock as a base; it was my intention to create something that looked a little shabby this time. I inked around the edges using Sahara Sand and I could not resist using my all time favourite stamp set (Gorgeous Grunge) to make it look aged:
Here are the completed pockets (spot the romantic ducky); first using Whisper White:
All orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a little thank you from me if you use the current Hostess Code: Y4FYCB9H (please remember to allow me to access your contact details). For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits.
Fingers crossed that my little pink ducky turns up soon!

As usual, I can't decide which I like best - I like them both for different reasons! Looking at the photographs just now, I think the addition of a few Basic Jewels to the first pocket would look very nice too. Please leave a comment below and let me know which version you prefer.
