Lighthearted Leaves - Every Leaf
Hello, lots happening this week in the world of Stampin' Up! and I have been very busy too with the launch of an additional Coffee and Card session on Monday. I was joined on both Monday and Tuesday by some lovely new ladies who had a lovely afternoon drinking coffee and making cards with me. If you would like to join us next week please message me for details.
With the announcement earlier this week of the retirement list (you can see the updated list here) I was very sorry to see that Lighthearted Leaves will be leaving us shortly.
I do occasionally sell some of my retired stamp sets but this is one that I will be definitely be keeping!
I love the quote from Emily Bronte - Haworth is one of my favourite places to visit. I was lucky enough for many years to live quite close; if you ever get the chance to visit I would highly recommend the Bronte Parsonage Museum (make sure you wear sensible shoes, if the hills don't get you, the cobblestones definitely will)!
I decided to keep this card fairly simple and as I haven't done any heat embossing for absolutely ages I got out my silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and my trusty heat gun and got to work!
The leaf looks stunning with the silver embossing, I used an aqua painter and some Pool Party ink and then added a couple of simple embellishments - love it! I will be making lots of these in different colours - I think they will make lovely note cards and I will probably make up some as sets to give as gifts for friends.
Here is the finished card:
Don't forget to check out this week's updated Weekly Deals!
Thanks so much for looking at my Blog today, I hope you enjoyed my project; if you need any of the products to create it – I would love to be your demonstrator!
