Watercolour Wings Workshop = happy ladies!
Hello, just a quick post from me today. I had a lovely group of five ladies join me on Tuesday for a re run of the ever so popular Watercolour Wings workshop. We had such a laugh whilst having some crafty fun and the biggest slices of cake I have seen in a long time with our coffees!
Here is a picture of the card we made - (available in a choice of colours):
The picture was very similar - the only difference being that we replaced the sentiment with one of the gorgeous vintage faceted buttons:
I used Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo inks for my butterflies. Three of the ladies preferred a teal colour theme so they used Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo and one lady used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant for a lilac colour theme.
One of the ladies (Debbie) has a daughter who will be going off to University next year. She asked if I had a suitable sentiment she could use on her picture to give as a gift for her daughter to take away with her. I immediately thought of 'Feel Good' a lovely set that has five inspirational/feel good sentiments. My favourite one is 'she believed she could ... so she did' and this is the one that Debbie put on her picture for her daughter.
And here is a photo of the five very happy ladies with their finished pictures:
I know that at least another two of the pictures made on Tuesday will be given as Christmas gifts this year. If you would be interested in attending a workshop to make one for yourself or as a gift, please contact me for further details.
Thanks so much for looking at my Blog today, I hope you enjoyed my project; if you need any of the products to create it – I would love to be your demonstrator! Simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
All orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a little thank you from me if you use the current Hostess Code: 7MMUGX97 (please remember to allow me to access your contact details). For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits.
