Lighthearted Leaves in the Woodland
Hello, the card I am sharing with you today was inspired by something similar that I saw a while ago on Pinterest made by and American Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Sandy Mott - thank you for the inspiration Sandy!
Sandy had stamped and embossed her card using gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and it did look lovely but I couldn't find mine at the time, so I had to manage without it!
I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizazz and, as in a recent post using this stamp set, I used an aqua painter to colour in the leaves with some ink from the lid of an ink pad. As it is that time of year I added some Dazzling Details for a bit of sparkle too!
I really do love this sentiment! I cut the tiny leaf from one of the bigger images in the set - because I splashed some water on it and spoilt it and, obviously, I wasn't going to waste it was I?
The Woodland TIEF (and the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set) will be disappearing shortly which is a shame as it provides such a lovely background (seen here with Pear Pizazz cardstock). To finish off the card I added a stamped panel to the inside so that I could write a message and decorated the envelope to match.
