Stampin' Up! - A Nice Cuppa

Hello, the coffee shop that I go to on Tuesdays for Coffee & Cards sessions is having a bit of a make over at the moment. Tasha (the owner) told me she wanted to put numbers on the tables and that she was going to do her own.  I offered to do some for her ...

I thought immediately of a new set of dies from the Spring/Summer Catalogue called Cup and Kettles, especially as I have not had chance to use them yet!

The colour scheme at Stugles is a lovely soft pink and grey so I reached for Smoky Slate and Pink Pirouette cardstock and got to work.

Stampin' Up! Made by Susan Simpson Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Craftyduckydoodah!, Cups & Kettles Framelits Dies,

I used a retired stamp set (Skinny Minny Alphabet - love that name) for the numbers along with a couple of circle punches.

I inked around the edges with some Pink Pirouette ink too just to give a little definition.

I was really pleased with how these turned (especially for such a quick and simple project) and Tasha was too -phew!!

The Framelits Dies come with a matching stamp set too (A Nice Cuppa) as a bundle = 15% saving.  I really must have a play with them very soon...

It is so nice to be able to do little projects like this as a way of saying thank you to someone - I will try to get a photo of them next week on the tables ...

  1. Susan they are gorgeous, are you going to laminate them so that they can be easily wiped over with a cloth if they spills on them ? Just seem like a good idea to me, they are so beautiful that it would be a shame if they got ruined !!

  2. Hello witchypoo thank you for your comment! The cups will be placed under a clear top that sits on the table so they will be safe from spills :)

  3. So Happy to hear it, here they usually put them in a tall holder which stands upright, but they invariably fall over and get spills on them. I wouldn't like to see such lovely things get spoilt, that's why I wrote. Under a clear top they will be protected and look awesome !!
