Stampin' Up! - Made With Love (for Easter)
Hello, I seem to have been chasing my tails (so to speak) for the last few weeks and only got chance a couple of days ago to think about Easter cards for my family and friends. As time was passing I needed something quick and simple to put together, I saw a lovely card on the Blog of Jennifer Frost who is a member of the Satmpin' Up! Artisan Design Team. You can see Jennifer's card here
This is my interpretation of Jennifer's design:
Can you guess how I created the eggs?
I used the balloon background stamps that are part of Balloon Celebration set and punched them out with the matching punch - then I snipped of the ends. A quick stamp over the stop off my eggs with my all time favourite stamp set (Gorgeous Grunge) and Crumb Cake ink to give them a speckled look and voila! I was quite pleased with them and think they look like the chocolate mini eggs that everyone seems to buy (and eat) at Easter!
I realised that my son would probably prefer not to receive a card with a pretty lacy background so I pulled out the Softly Falling TIEF:
My son might not appreciate a lacy background but he will definitely appreciate the chocolate that will accompany his card!!
Here are both cards complete with a decorated envelope - which version do you prefer? I would love you to leave me a comment to let me know.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
Details of the products I used to create this project can be found below. If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
All orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a little thank you from me if you use the current Hostess Code: JY2VTRCD (please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits.
