Stampin' Up! - Seaside Shore
Hello, today I needed a card (well two actually) in a hurry. I needed a card for a man who was turning 70 and a lady who was turning 30. Once again, I ask myself why do I always leave things until the last minute?
I decided to use a layout I have used many times before as I only had a couple of hours before I had to be at the party!
I bought this set because one of my lovely crafty ladies has it and couldn't think what to do with it - the things I do for my customers!!
I choose my colours from the matching DSP:
Once I had cut all my cardstock and DSP to size this card came together really quickly. I didn't even mind cutting out the fish - it was easy, honest! The hardest part was incorporating the number 70 into the design. I managed to do this on the inside and I really like how the numbers from Large Numbers Framelits look with the images stamped on top.
Here is the completed card, of course I stamped the envelope to match as usual:
I have lots of ideas swimming (sorry!) around in my head for this set and will share some more ideas as soon as I get them onto some cardstock! In the meantime, why not pop over to my Pinterest board for some ideas HERE:
The stamp set is part of a product suite that has so many lovely items, including a lovely wavy embossing folder.
I have only used a few of the stamps in this set so far but anyone with children (or grandchildren) will truly appreciate this set when Finding Nemo 2 is released!
I will post details of the other card I made using the same layout next week.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
