Stampin' Up! - Thoughtful Branches
Hello, today I needed a really quick thank you card for someone who had done me a favour. My craft room is in a bit of a mess at the moment as I have just finished prepping for a workshop this evening .....
One stamp set I managed to find amongst the mess was Thoughtful Branches - I have been using it quite a lot lately!
I have recently been looking at some of the Newsletters that I receive from Stampin' Up! and thought I would have a go at recreating one of their designs.
I inked up the stamps and got busy as I knew I had to get the card finished, photographed and in the post box in 30 minutes - its a good job there is a post box and the end of the road!
Have you seen the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape on page 44 yet?
One of the rolls in the set has copper foil on it - it is absolutely gorgeous!!
For a really quick (and simple) background I used the same colour ink as my card base - Mint Macaron and one of the accent images from the set.
There are so many things that I love about Thoughtful Branches - one of them is that you get two bird stamps; a left and a right facing one. It saves so much time faffing around trying to stamp a mirror image I can tell you! If you purchase it as a bundle (=10% saving) you will also get the matching dies. Thoughtful Branches is only available until the end of August (or whilst stocks last) so PLEASE, don't leave it too late to order.
