Stampin'Up! - Touches of Texture

Hello, the Touches of Texture stamp sets was one that I was immediately drawn to in the new catalogue but until now I had not had a chance to take a proper look at it:(

So today, despite the soaring temperatures in the UK (much too hot for me) and the fact that I have no voice at all, I felt I needed a little crafty therapy!

I got the idea for my colour choice from the Morocan DSP:

One of the things I love about this stamp set are the splatters and the other thing I love is the way that you can add a little colour (like on the leaves) without needing to be too precise.  There is this funny little stamp that just filled the leaves 'perfectly' with Emerald Envy ink!

Can you see how I carefully positioned my bee over an area of yellow splodges?

I also stamped on the inside of the card too:

I really like the colour scheme on this card - if I get time, I will make some more of this quick and simple cards.  Perhaps I might use them as a thank you card for my lovely customers who have shopped with me in July!

Now for some strange reason I can't seem to access the details of the Delightful Dijon Classic Stampin' Pad that I used for this project to use on my product list. I may have to come back at some point in the future and amend ... because it will bug me!!

Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours!  If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
