Stampin' Up! - Christmas Pines (spot the deliberate mistake)!
Hello, I have had such fun today - cutting out pine branches and arranging them to make this card. I decided to make something a little shabby for a change - my last few makes have been on a white background so out came the Crumb Cake and my scuffing tool!
I love this TIEF - such a useful design and, I was so pleased that it was not retired back in June. The folder is called Softly Falling and on this particular card I have used it to depict snow but it can be used for so much more ...
I used some white craft ink on the inside of the folder before placing my cardstock inside and embossing and then, I smooshed the ink pad around the cardstock and the edges afterwards to make the background even snowier!
I used some of the discontinued Dazzling Details in Cherry Cobbler as little berries for a bit of sparkle.
Have you seen the gorgeous Copper Foil Sheets (page 47) in the new Catalogue?
I used it to die cut my little pinecone. To add some depth to the cone I cut out three additional layers in Crumb Cake and glued them one on top of the other.
Here is the finished card:
Of course, it was only after I had finished my card and photographed it that I realised I had made a slight mistake! Can you spot what it is? I will send/give a card to the first person to correctly spot it ....
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
Details of the products I used to create this project can be found below. If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
