Stampin' Up! Beautiful You - paper piecing

Hello,  just a quick share today some of the options available this week for Coffee & Cards using the fabulous Beautiful You stamp set.

Both samples use a paper piecing technique - you simply stamp your chosen image onto the note card with black Memento and then stamp again onto the DSP of your choice.

I usually tell my crafty ladies to cut things out leaving a narrow border but on this occassion you need to cut directly on the stamped lines.

Once cut out, apply some Tombow (sparingly) and stick down onto the stamped image.  The possibilities are endless with so many lovely papers to choose from.

This dress is from the Regal DSP Stack in Island Indigo.

It is important to check which way up the pattern is on your paper otherwise you could get some rather odd results!

I think I would quite like a dress like this red one - the paper is from the Sending Love DSP Stack.

We also stamped on the envelope and the inside of the card using Smoky Slate ink.
