Stampin' Up Dragonfly Dreams - stepped up
Hello, as promised here are the details for the second project we made at Coffee & Cards this week.
These are the colours we used for our project:
All my crafty ladies loved using this set and they all made some lovely cards!
The framelits that come with the stamp set as a bundle are amazing! Can you see the detail on the dragonfly - I love it! We stamped the image underneath the dragonfly and added a little colour to the wings with one of the new watercolour pencils from SU. If you don't have the pencils yet you could use a Stampin' Write marker instead.
There is a lovely dotty stamp in this set, we used it to create a border along the top of the card, on the inside and on the envelope too. We stamped in yellow first and then slightly offset the blue. The stamp has a textured effect which is so pretty.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
Lots of you will know that I love the stamp set called Gorgeous Grunge - I couldn't resist adding a spot of GG - did you spot the 'splodges'?
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
I hope to meet you at a Coffee & Card session soon!
