Ducklings Team Meeting

Hello, did you know that I have a small but growing team of 'ducklings'? They are a group of lovely ladies and earlier this week, we had one of our team meetings.

I thought it might be fun for us all to do a 'shoe box swap'.  I set up the table with my project first so that we wouldn't loose any crafting time!  My project used the Window Box Thinlets - this was the first opportunity I'd had to use these dies. I was very impressed with how easily the box came together.

Here is the finished project ... we only made a simple version of the box as I knew we would be a bit short on time.  There is the option to die cut the sides of the box too.  The sentiment is from a set called Special Reason.

I put together a little treat for everyone as well as a card.

After a quick break where we enjoyed a scrummy lemon cake made by Bev (thank you) we got back to some more crafting.

Bev designed a lovely project for us using a set called Moon Baby.

When you pull the little tab, the images moves around to reveal a hidden message - so clever, thank you Bev!

Next up was Sue's project.  Sue has only recently joined my team and does not have very many SU supplies (YET) so she brought other goodies for us to play with.

I love white on white - so elegant, thank you Sue!  We used lots of sparkly Dazzling Diamonds glitter but it was very difficult to photograph.

Unfortunately Annie and Debbie were unable to join us on this occassion - don't worry girls, I have saved all your goodies for you!

I really enjoyed working on projects that were not my own.  It has been a while since I attended a workshop by another Demonstrator.
