Stampin' Up! High Tide - stepped up
Hello, here are the details of the second project from this week using this very versatile stamp set.
Everyone who crafted with me this week went with a blue lighthouse - a few crafty ladies did try out the Real Red version but they also preferred the blue option!
The Stampin' Up! designers are so clever - the gap in the sand dune stamp is just the perfect size for the lighthouse! We turned the sand dune upside down to stamp on the envelope and the inside of the card and added some of the grasses using a mixture of 'full strength' and 'stamped off' ink.
Lots of stunning cards made this week - here are a selection of some that were made yesterday.
Here is my completed card and envelope.
I really enjoyed decorating the envelope and the inside of the card this week - it put me in the mood for a spot of sea air to blow away some cobwebs...
Louise who crafted with me on Tuesday suggested that this card would make a lovely picture for a bathroom. Well, watch this space, I just need to find someone with a sandpit ...
Would you believe that everyone loved the 'Marmite' card I was so worried about offering this week!
I was joined yesterday afternoon by a brand new crafter - Kath has never done any stamping before and she told me she wasn't artistic at all.
Well, this is the first card that Kath made ...
I have no idea how Kath managed to get this amazing effect on her moon, doesn't it looks fantastic? Now all I have to do is figure out how to recreate it!
Hopefully you can just see a slight tough of Wink of Stella on the water?
A few of my regular crafty ladies were unable to join me this week. They very kindly messaged me to say that they loved the cards and asked would I offer them again. So as a first for me, we will be doing the same projects next week - there is a possibility of a few tweaks though!
Details of the products I used for the projects this week can be found below.
I will post details over the weekend with the new Hostess Code for April and the free gift for all orders over £20.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon!
