Stampin' Up! Seaside Shore for the Team Creative Challenge
Hello, some of you may know that I belong to a lovely team of stampers called the Stampin' STYlettes. I have been so busy for ages now that I have not had the opportunity to enter any Creative Challenges. However, this morning I found myself with a little time on my hands so I thought I would have come up with something and enter it for the March Challenge.
The first time I entered a Team Creative Challenge was way back in May of 2016 (you can see the post here). I really liked the card I made but, unfortunately I did not read the rules of the challenge properly. This time I paid more attention!

'by the seaside'.
This month there were two options, I chose the 'business builder' option.
'Consider something that you might use to give out to someone you might meet to promote yourself and your business'.
The first stamp set that came to my mind was Seaside Shore. I love this set and have used it several time for Coffee & Cards.
I chose some of the colours that are in the By The Shore DSP.
After some careful measuring, I came up with a matchbook style business card holder.
After stamping and colouring my panel, (I used a Blender Pen to pick up some Mint Macaron ink) I embossed it with the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF).
There is space on the inside to add a business card ...
You can see from this photo that I have left room inside to add a little treat ...
I found these online - I'm just waiting for them to arrive - if necessary, I will adjust my project a little to allow for the depth of the chocolate!
The only other criteria for the challenge was to use at least on current embellishment.
As I had a pot of these gorgeous little sprinkles on my desk it seemed rude not to add some - especially as the colours coordinate beautifully! SU are so good at coordination!! The tiny pearls sit nicely inside the 'cup' of the sequins.
They were rather fiddly to adhere (I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen) but I think they were worth it!
Here is the completed business card holder.
As soon as the chocolate shells arrive I will keep a couple of these in my handbag - you never know when you might need one!
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, details of the products I used to crate this project can be found below.
