Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday for Coffee & Cards (a sneaky peak)!

Hello, this week for Coffee & Cards we will be doing something a little different;  we will be using a new stamp set called Perennial Birthday (available 3rd January) to make a pocket card and matching envelope.  We will also be making a beaded icicle at the special request of one of my crafty ladies after she saw the decorations I been helping the residents at a local care home make recently.

We will be using a striking colour palette of just three colours.

I had already decided that we would be making a pocket card next week and as I had Perennial Birthday out on my desk it seemed an obvious choice.  I had a quick look on Pinterest before I got cracking and came across a project made by Danielle Bennenk aka Mrs Brightside.  Danielle was one of the talented ladies who presented at On Stage in November - her projects are lovely (you can see Danielle's project here).  So, I decided to attempt to recreate a version of one of her projects.

Here are the projects we will be making next week.  We will be doing lots of cutting out so please make sure you bring a pair of scissors along with you to speed things up!

I love making these icicles - I realised recently that I have been making them for over 20 years now!  They are such fun to make for both children and adults.  If you would like to make extra icicles I will bring some additional kits with me for you to complete at home.  (Extra kits can be purchased for £1.90 each).

If you would like to join me for a Coffee & Cards session you can find me at the following locations next week:

Monday - both projects
Venue:   The Grand Piano Cafe Bar, Godmanchester
Time:     10:00 - 12:00 pm
Cost:
£5.50 - includes all materials and tuition to make 2 projects.

Tuesday - unfortunately I will be in Birmingham with my daughter so sorry, no Coffee & Cards session :(

Thursday - both projects
Venue:   The Grand Piano Cafe Bar, Godmanchester
Time:     2:00 - 4:00 pm
Cost:      £5.50 - includes all materials and tuition to make 2 projects.

I will be posting more details of the pocket card and the products I used to create it later this week so be sure to pop back again soon.

Thanks to Danielle for providing such wonderful inspiration.

Hope you can join me for the last Coffee & Cards sessions for 2017!

Wishing you a crafty weekend.  I will be wrapping my presents - love buying them, hate wrapping them.  The only way I get through the ordeal is a rather large G & T and a favourite CD - playing loudly!

Susan xx
