Stampin' Up! Petal Palette - stepped up

Hello, so much crafty fun this week using Petal Palette - my crafty ladies have come up with some amazing colour combinations for their birds!

Petal Palette is one of my favourite bundles (=10% saving) in the Spring / Summer Catalogue - I am really, really hoping it will be in the Annual Catalogue.

The little die cut trellis has been adhered to the back of the sentiment and then raised up on Stampin' Dimensionals while the little bird perches perfectly to one side.

We used one of the embossing folders from Petal Pairs to create a background for our cards - you can just about see it below.  Most of the design is covered by the central panel but it adds an extra 'something' to the card don't you think?

Here is my completed card and envelope.  The envelope and the inside also have dotty borders stamped on them.

I made both my samples this week using Pool Party but offered a choice of Pool Party, Daffodil Delight or Pink Pirouette.

Daffodil Delight proved the most popular - many of my crafty ladies will be using their cards for Easter this year!

I love the dotty border in this stamp set so clever of SU to make it so easy to stamp and join up the dots!  The sentiments in this set are lovely too - the mix of fonts is right up my street!

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for a crafty coffee. I will post details of the projects for next week shortly - we will be using Cake Soiree!

I will be taking part in a brand new blog hop on Saturday with a group of Demonstrators from around the World.  I am still working on my project so I will be busy photographing and writing my post tomorrow - talk about last minute! I would love you to visit and hop around with us and leave a comment to let me know what you think of my projects.  Many of the participants are first time hoppers - can't wait to see what everyone has made.

Hope you have a crafty weekend.

Susan xx
