Stampin' Up! Climbing Orchid - stepped up
Hello, here are the details of our second project this week using a stamp set called Climbing Orchid.
Lots of stamping and die cutting to create a large and a small orchid for this card. The petals have been curled and shaped in the same way as our first project for this week and layered up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
My favourite part of this particular card is the way that the Seasonal Layers Thinlits die lines up perfectly with the flower buds ... some things are just meant to be aren't they?
We used one of the left over pieces of Wood Testures DSP to decorate the inside of our cards.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
So many lovely variations of this stepped up project have been made this week. Isn't it amazing how just a simple change to the background can make such a difference?
This week we were joined by Ricki and Donna for the first time - welcome ladies, I hope you had fun! Here are a few of the cards made this afternoon - all of them stunning, all that stamping and die cutting was worth the effort!
I was able to join my crafty ladies at the Care Home today too, they made a version of this card today; I did lots of prep, stamping and die cutting the flowers for them. They like to assemble things and everyone was impressed with their finished cards.
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for a crafty coffee. Details of the proejcts for next week will be available soon - we will be making cards for men next week - a special request from Sarah!
