Bloom By Bloom - stepped up
Here are the details for our final project this week using a stamp set called Bloom By Bloom.
I love to create my own backgrounds, do you? The stamps in this set are perfect for doing this.
My favourite images in this set are the half flower and the stem. I slightly offset the yellow flower to create a bit of dimension.
There are several tiny stamps in this set (I love the trio of dots), that are perfect for filling in any gaps.
We used a sentiment from Needle & Thread - not just a happy birthday wish but a happiest birthday wish!
We added 1cm strip of DSP beneath the sentiment for a pop of colour - a tiny bow adhered with a glue dot added a bit of sparkle. We also added some jewels to the tiny flowers.
We added the panel to a piece of Night of Navy card that was embossed with the Dot to Dot TIEF - slightly offset for a change.
The inside of the card has been stamped to match too. As one lady said to me earlier this week, 'why wouldn't you when you have all the stamps and inks out anyway'!
Here is the completed card and envelope.
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week. Next week we will be having some fun with the Stamparatus - I will share details of our projects over the weekend.
Have a crafty weekend!

All orders placed directly with me or online receive a handmade card from me as a thank you but did you know that all orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a gift from me too? If you use the current Hostess Code I will pop something in with your order or post directly to you. (Please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
If your order is over £150 please don't use the code as you will receive your own Stampin' Rewards. You will still receive a card and a gift from me.
Here are the products I used today. All products are from Stampin’ Up! and can be purchased directly from my online shop by clicking the images below.
If you are local to me and can collect, I’m happy for you to piggyback one of my orders to save on postage.
If you have any questions, I’m happy to help. You can email me susan_merrey@yahoo.co.uk or telephone 07905 403 823.
