Daisy Delight - quick & simple

Here are the details for our first project this week using Daisy Delight and the upcoming Daisy Lane.

We used my favourite Stitched Rectangle Framelits and a piece of the Wood Textures DSP to create our background.  I just can't seem to stop using these framelits!

We then used the large daisy from a new stamp set called Daisy Lane to stamp two flowers using Coastal Cabana ink.

Once they were punched out, each flower was carefully cut in half.  Using Tombow, they were adhered slightly offsetting the petals to create 'new' daisies.

The centre of the flowers were created using images from Daisy Delight.  The solid centre image used ink that had been stamped off first.  The detailed centre image was stamped at full strength.

The centre has been punched out using the 1/2" circle punch.  When I had finished my samples, I decided that the flowers needed a little something extra so I added a couple of gold faceted gems.  I am pleased to say that the faceted gems will be in the upcoming Annual Catalogue!

Once it was decided where the flowers would be placed I stamped the stems.

The petals of the flowers have been curled and shaped to add dimension.  The sentiment (Varied Vases), was stamped onto a 1cm strip of card using Soft Suede ink and adhered across the front of the card with dimensionals.

Here is the completed card and envelope - the inside and the envelope each have a partial daisy stamp on them.
